Welcome to my site! Thank you for your interest in keeping up-to-date on the activities your son or daughter is currently working on in my science class.
Links from this page will lead you to information regarding homework assignments, projects and due dates. From time to time, I'll try and point your attention to interesting events occurring in our area that connect with our class, and also to remind you of critical classroom information so that you can help your child manage their time better.
In an effort to help your son or daughter stay on track of their assignments and meet their appointed deadlines, the teacher keeps two important sheets of paper positioned on the side wall of our classroom.
One is called the "Binder Reminder In The Sky." It lists all work and due dates assigned fore each week. It also reminds kids of what we did the previous week, and what was turned into the teacher. Students should refer to this document and copy the information in their own personal Binder Reminder.
The other document is a list of the assignments from start to finish. Every time we do an assignment, it is listed on this paper.
Students also have a "Grade Sheet" they keep in their notebook to record scores and grades they receive on each assignment graded by the teacher.
Students (and parents) should continually refer to these papers to help them monitor their personal progress in their science class, and to make sure they're up todate in all their work.
